Over 400 people attended our July auction, on the day temperatures topped at around 27 Degrees Celsius. It didn’t take long for the ice cream van to run dry. We are pleased to report that over 80% of the 1400 lots successfully changed hands.

Keeping true to the format at West Meon we had 5 auctions running. The day kicked off with a modest show of plants and nursery stock including laurels, vegies, bedding plants and tomatoes. Followed swiftly by builders and warehouse sundries, new tools, timber, agricultural kit, tractors and vehicles, trailers, livestock sundries, general farm sundries, workshop and tools, chainsaws, mowers, and everything garden machinery, rural and domestic bygones, garden furniture, statuary and architectural salvage.

Machinery prices achieved include Land Rover 110 Defender £6400, Ford 4610 tractor £3500, Kubota mini tractor £2400, Ifor Williams livestock trailer £1400, Warwick grain trailer £1600, Buffalo calf trailer £1150, John Deere 355 ride on £1000.

 

Other highlights include, Delmorinho 3 wood chipper £800, IAE sheep scales £450, lots of 5 sheets of ply £200 each, compactor plate £250, cantilever garden umbrella £180, Lister stationary engine £170, Stihl br600 backpack blower £130, antique garden bench £300, Anvil £260.
