Watling Architectural Auction

Saturday 15th September – 10:00am Start

 

Wellers of Guildford is pleased to announce its second architectural auction of 2018 on Saturday 15th September, which will be starting at 10:00am. The auction will be held at Watling Reclamation based in Towcester, Northamptonshire.

This one day auction will see many different types of items pass under the hammer and includes some amazing individual items as well as bulk lots which will interest both the individual buyer and the trade.

Included in the 650 lots there are many pallets of stoneware including decorative stone blocks, coping stones, granite blocks, sandstone, York stone, quarry tiles, bricks, walling, flagstone, stone corbels, pavers, roof tiles, slate and ridge tiles, slabs, stone pier caps, granite floor tiles and more!

There are many interesting decorative items including various fire surrounds such as pine, cast iron and stone, some of which include the mantel and fire grates. Other decorative items include a fantastic pair of stable doors and a further two sets of Indian antique teak doors and frames (1550×2090). There are several fire pits, iron fish and chicken lanterns, vintage crates and signs.

Watling Reclamation also has a good collection of garden statuary, stone and composition troughs, decorative cast and wrought iron gates and railings which would adorn any property entrance and perimeter, lampposts, planters, staddle stones, benches, a large lift pulley made by Waygood & Co (over 100 years old), sack scales, vented buff chimney pots, mixed 65lbs weights all of which are just to name a small part of the type of items you can expect to find at our next Architectural auction at Watling Reclamation on the 15th September.

There will be an opportunity for potential bidders to browse the many lots of architectural stock before the auction day, with viewing from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday in the build up to the auction on Saturday 15th September 2018m, with viewing available on the day from 7:30am, giving you plenty of time to find that item worth bidding for!
