On Friday 26th & Saturday 27th October Wellers of Guildford will be holding an architectural auction on behalf of Aladdin’s Cave based in Lewisham (see address below). This auction is a two day closing down auction with 650 lots of architectural and decorative pieces on the Friday and after this a 1000 lots on the Saturday.

Both auctions will be starting at 10:00am each day and are packed with plenty of items that have been buried away for many years. Viewing is available from 10:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Saturday in the build up to the auction with the actual auction held round the corner at St. John’s Church (see address below) on the Friday and the Saturday.

There will be refreshments available on site in the church who have kindly allowed us to use their premises to hold our auction, with special thanks to Father Peter for allowing this to happen.

Included on day one of the auction there is a good range of lots which includes ornate fireplaces, lighting fixtures and fittings, furniture, garden statuary including a rather decorative 3 tiered garden fountain. There are many cast iron radiators, wrought iron gates and railings, stained glass (perfect for restoration jobs), fire baskets and surrounds and plenty of doors of all kinds which are just waiting for a home to adorn.

*Auction 1 will finish at approximately 5:30pm.
